My reason for their incessant attack: The Deccan Chronicle group always nursed a grudge against Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Founder of The Art of Living Foundation, ever since they were rebuffed in their attempt to be the Official Media Partner of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations 2006 held in Bengaluru. They were told in no uncertain terms that there are no official Media partner concept with AOL and everyone is free to cover the event and unhindered access as applicable to media would be provided. For the first time in newspaper History (probably), this was the Newspaper where a “motivated” book review appeared, hold your breath, on front page – Yes! on the front page. Why credibility of the media is at the lowest are for these reasons. Agenda driven views instead of news based on fact and blatant misreporting to mislead – in this age of social media, the bluff are called easily and immediately with proof. Social Media self regulates far better than MSM. Bluffs in SM is called immediately by & in SM.
I sincerely hope Art of Living, takes note of these kind of deliberate misreporting and legally take them to task.

I still find it kind of shocking that Sri Sri is feeling neglected because a “16 year old” won the Nobel prize and not him. And hence, the prize has now become “political”.
Aniket, its not about 16 year old but its about the very reason the Nobel Peace Prize had come into being! Please check the history and origin. And also the way NPP has been started to be given. Check the list if past few years.
