20Three Grateful Years

Firstly, thank you dear one for making 23 years look like a Jiffy!!! – all credits to you for making it happen despite all the Tsunamis or Tremors that tried to rock. Grave Mistakes Overlooked, Crises after Crises Overcome so many times!!! Only you have the heart and the capability to do it. Exactly what I meant when I shared these words earlier!

Positive feelings come from being honest about yourself and accepting your personality, and physical characteristics, warts and most of all accepting the Mistakes; and, from belonging to a family that accepts you without question. So true! Experiential

Once this is done, Nothing in the world really matters. And you have the strength to give back better than what you get.

Yes! Nothing matters really – I derive the strength to give back better than what I have received with the ammunition of your support.

I vividly this day 23 years ago, it rained then too (and it has rained every year on this day since). It simply did not matter to me then nor today because on every such rainy days, you were the shelter to me and the kids (and many many others), you never let anyone who had fallen slipping, to stay fallen.

The early days when you asked me innocently, if we have to add water into the rice cooker to cook rice! Curd rice being a staple food for days that I couldn’t cook, sleepless nights when Divya first and then Vishnu came along – Everything became worthwhile (or actually nothing) weighed against what you bring to our lives. (Another matter that the variety of food and the spread today is so vast, no one can believe you have acquired this expertise, well! until they knew my weight)

So, a big Thanks dearest Aparna for coming into my life 23 years ago. Thanks for bringing two Gems to add value to our lives. Once again I repeat, it would be God being kind again, if Divya can grow up to be just like you – A Wonderful Human Being! (Vishnu, not like me ;))

And BTW! I have to say nothing has changed from the time I wrote these

1) Two over a Score – Still Going Strong

2) Divine & Unconditional Love

And many more that I have written on your birthdays or our wedding anniversaries.

We have also been extremely lucky to have been blessed by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji who has always been a inexplicably huge source of Strength in this journey of togetherness – the Master whose unconditional love has always been showered on us. Thank you Gurudev – Ever grateful for that

Once again! Thank you Dearest Aparna! Happy Anniversary as we move on from 20Three to Twenty5

And here is how we ushered in 24th year of Blissful Journey. Thanks Divya and Vishnu for making it so special, Suresh (not me), Ranchana, Ullas and Tejaswini. It was a great time dining in High Park, Mysore
